Hello all,
Welcome back! Monday night Guy and I had a wonderful dinner Monday night at Almond, a friend's restaurant of the same name as the one situated on Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton, New York. Just as we love it there, we love it here.
We started with a drink at the bar, after I was a little late because of skip stop subway fiasco. Maker's Mark Manhattan before I sat got the edge off before dinner.
Eric came over with a big smile after having returned from the movies and then we were seated at a great table in the corner of the restaurant. Pomegranate Martini's started the meal before we ordered.
Appetizers: Steamed Artichoke with Four Dipping Sauces and Salt Cod Fritters. Both yummy.
Entrees: Grilled Scallops and Roasted Monkfish with Manila Clams and PEI Mussels.
